The Master Plan emphasizes the importance of connecting the Naples Design District with improved streets, parking, stormwater management and utilities.
The vision for the project is an improved 1st Avenue South, 12th Street South and 10th Street consistent with the Naples Brand, Complete Streets Policy, Blue Zones Initiative, Tree Ordinance, and 2014 CRA Redevelopment Plan. The improvements include lighting, landscaping, irrigation, and stormwater & utility. Thus, increasing the quality and safety of residents and business owners of the Naples Design District area. Different portions of the project will include different improvements which are listed below.
The design phase for this project is anticipated to be completed early 2025 with construction starting in Spring of 2025.
